National Championships Update

Skateboard England has been closely following developments and guidance around Covid-19 and today (Monday 16 March) made the decision to postpone the National Championships which had been scheduled for 28/29 March.

We appreciate that many of you will have been looking forward to and preparing for the event and will be disappointed that it has been postponed. It was not a decision we took lightly and was made based on our assessment of the safety and welfare of all our skateboarders, supporters, staff and wider community, taking into consideration the latest advice from Government and Sport England.

At this point in time we can't confirm a new date for the National Championships. We'll provide an update as soon as we are able to.

Meanwhile, please continue to lead an active life, taking into account the Public Health England guidelines about staying safe and reducing the risk of infection. You can do your bit to help prevent the spread of Covid-19 by following the current recommendations on the  NHS.UK website and the Public Health England blog

If you should be self-isolating as a result of developing symptoms and/or recent international travel to destinations specified by the Government, please do not take part in skateboarding activities for the duration of your self-isolation period. For further information see the  GOV.UK website  and the  NHS.UK website.
