Skateboard GB embrace the power of plant-based protein, powered by Pulsin

Skateboard GB is happy to be working with feel-good nutrition brand, Pulsin, to support skateboarders and competitors with increased protein plant-based powders and snacks.

This new collaboration supports Pulsin’s mission to make healthy vegan snacking more accessible, alongside Skateboard GB’s purpose to provide skateboarders with the opportunity to “Skate More, Skate Better” at all levels from beginner to podium.

Pulsin, the producer of award-winning plant-based protein powders, delicious on-the-go snack bars, Keto products and immunity shakes have teamed up with Skateboard GB to help support skateboarders and their performance through nutrition.

For anyone trying to skate more, getting the right diet and nutrition is just as important as improving technique, and in particular a diet with a high-protein content.

As a sport, Skateboarding enjoyed a successful debut at the Tokyo Olympics in 2021 and will continue to capitalise on this success as it builds towards the Paris Olympic Games in 2024. As part of this journey, Pulsin will initially support skateboarding at grassroots level with community events and junior competitions during the spring.

Tom Adams, Head of Commercial Partnerships at Skateboard GB said, “This is a exciting brand collaboration, which will help us support our communities as part of our twelve year strategy. We recognise the hugely important role that diet and nutrition plays, which is increasingly becoming a part of skateboarding and we’re hugely excited about the potential this relationship has to help us support skateboarders who compete at both a local and national level.”

Announcing the launch, Pulsin’s MD Lisa Butler said “This is an exciting time for Skateboard GB and we are looking forward to demonstrating the benefits that Pulsin’s plant-based, high-protein snacks and powders can bring to this community.”
