Job Vacancy - Coach Development Lead

Skateboard GB is recruiting!

We are expanding our talented team and a fantastic opportunity has arisen for us to employ a Coach Development Lead. This role will take responsibility for SBGB’s learning offer, management of course delivery and the ongoing development of coaches and coaching in skateboarding.

This is an excellent opportunity for a highly motivated and experienced coach development practitioner who shares the values of our skateboard coaching philosophy and who can help coaches develop the critical knowledge and skills required to support skateboarders in a variety of domains.

The post holder will also possess the ability to build and foster effective relationships with a wide range of stakeholders. To do this role effectively, the post holder will be required to spend much of their time with skateboarders and coaches, developing coaching where skateboarding happens.

We are looking for an exceptional individual who:
- Has applied knowledge of learning and professional development within a freestyle / action sports coaching environment.

- Has strong interpersonal, communication and relationship building skills.

- Is self-directed, with a strong ability to plan, sustain and evaluate programmes of work.

- Is a creative problem solver and has the ability to determine and coordinate tailored solutions 

The role is home-based and will involve travel across the UK. Consequently, a full clean UK driving licence and access to a car are essential, as is the availability to work flexibly including regular evenings and weekends throughout the year. The successful candidate will also be required to undertake a DBS check upon offer of the role.

Skateboard GB is willing to consider flexible working arrangements.

Salary: c. £35,000

Location: UK, Home-based with national travel
